“Man is unique not because he does science, and he is unique not because he does art, but because science and art equally are expressions of his marvelous plasticity of mind. “ Jacob Bronowski

The Bronowski Art&Science Forum, a format for intellectual discourse on the commonalities of Art and of Science has hosted over 100 individuals who have been exemplary leaders in the arts and in the sciences. This Forum has hosted renowned artists, architects and scientists; outstanding individuals who by their accomplishments are leaders in their endeavors. The Forum has continued the tradition set in motion by Jonas Salk and Jacob Bronowski, examining the commonalities of the ‘two cultures’: creativity, elegance and the sublime. In a very modest way, The Forum pays homage to the legacy of Jacob Bronowski.
The Bronowski Art & Science Forum meets monthly, the first Thursday of the month and is free and open to the public.
The Forum had been meeting at The Salk Institute for over ten years with over 100 presentations.
The Salk Institute is now unable to support this Forum.
The Forum is independent and not affiliated with The Burnham Institute. It is a non profit ( Public Charity 501 (c) 3 EIN #205910283) .
Ron Newby is the founder and curator of the Bronowski Art&Science Forum. He is an artist and was a biologist at The Salk Institute for 27 years.
